Next October 22 to 24, the Europe INNOVA Conference will be held at the Lyons Convention Center. Six hundred institutional officials, professionals and innovation experts from across the European Union are expected to attend. Every other year, the European Commission organizes the major European conference on innovation with the Member State hosting the event. During the French Presidency of the European Union, the Europe INNOVA Conference in 2008 will be hosted by the Greater Lyons area partnered with the European Commission and the French Ministry of Industry.
The three days will be an occasion to present and discuss the latest priorities, opportunities and challenges for an ever-more competitive and innovative Europe. Nine workshops on key innovation topics (eco-innovation, cluster cooperation, creative industries, growth potential markets, and more), an exhibit on innovative projects and structures, a tour of three innovative businesses and clusters (IFP/Axelera, Sanofi Pasteur/Lyon Biopole, Brochier soieries and Brochier Technologies) are on the agenda. The award ceremony for the European Innovation prizes will also be featured.
