To be held over 2 days, February 24-25 in world's northernmost university city of Tromsø, BIOPROSP 2009 will give delegates the opportunity to gain a full understanding of the opportunities offered by recent developments in this major new drug discovery sector. Delegates are invited to participate with poster presentation. In addition there will be one day post conference workshop on new technologies on February 26th 2009.

The conference will also focus upon sustainable management of Arctic regions. Pour la troisième fois, la conférence internationale Artic Frontiers sera organisé à Tromsø. Du 18 au 23 janvier des chercheurs, des hommes politiques et des décideurs des pays arctiques se réuniront pour discuter des défis liés à cette région. M. Joe Borg, Commissaire européen, sera présent pour présenter la politique arctique de l'UE. M. Jonas Gahr Støre, MAE, sera également présent.
