On June 30 and July 1, 2009, this year's Ter@tec Days will be held at Ecole Supelec, in Gif-sur-Yvette (Essonne département). The event is the meeting place for international experts in High Performance Digital Simulation. Its very first year (2006), the yearly forum became France's major event in the field. Last year, more than 400 international researchers and industry operators, suppliers and users, attended and reported on the fast-moving changes of the technologies and their use in numerous fields.
This year, the organizers' goal is to bring together more than 600 international experts, including decision-makers and scientists in High Performance Digital Simulation, from industry and from French and foreign research, the local authorities, ministries, and competitive clusters. The event will feature plenary conferences, an exhibition with some fifty exhibitors, and workshops addressing the key topics and presenting numerous collaborative projects between industry and research (POPS, EHPOC, CSDL, and more).
